  • Dr William Giblin

    Principal Dentist
    BSc(CHEM), BDent, MRACDS(GDP)

    Will first graduated Sydney University in 2001 with a Science degree with a double chemistry major (BSc (Chem)). He went on to study Dentistry as a post graduate at the University of Sydney and obtained his Bachelor of Dentistry in 2006 (BDent). During this time he completed the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry’s (ASID) level 1, 2 and 3 and placed his first dental implant whilst at University.

    He became a member of the International Academy of Gnathology (IAG), completing the program on complex occlusion and TMJ treatment under Dr Bill McHorris.

    After graduating, Will went to Taree NSW for 3 years as a general dentist and returned to Sydney to work with his father, Dr John Giblin, in his general dental practice in Hornsby. He now owns GTW Dental Group in association with Dr Karen Woodcock.

    He also owns the Dental Implant Centre In Hornsby.

    Will attended the Misch International Implant Institute (MIII) in USA and graduated as a Fellow after completing the Surgical Program and the Advanced Bone Grafting course.

    Will is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons after completing the General Dental program in 2013 (MRACDS(GDP)).

    In Jan 2014, Will achieved his Fellowship, Mastership and became a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

    He has a diploma from the University of Bucharest in surgery and sinus augmentation and sits on the Committee for The International Academy of Gnathology (Australian Sector), and until recently was the Federal President of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID).

    He is a general dentist in Hornsby treating all aspects of dentistry at GTW Dental Group and the Dental Implant Centre with a special interest in bone regeneration, implants and restoration of ailing and failing teeth to set people up for their years ahead.

  • Dr Karen Woodcock

    Principal Dentist
    BDS (Hons I) FRACDS

    Karen graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours in her dentistry degree. She achieved fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

    She commenced her dental career in Hornsby in 1990. In 1996, along with her two partners established GTW Dental Group in its present location, where she continues to practice. Karen is an experienced general dentist with advanced clinical proficiency. Many of her patients have been seeing Karen for over 30 years.

    She is committed to continuing education in dentistry and regularly attends courses in all aspects of general dental practice. Karen has lectured and demonstrated at hands-on courses both locally and interstate. She was an examiner for university dental students and for dentists for the RACDS examinations for a number of years.

    Karen’s high clinical skills and quality of care, combined with her dedication to educating and informing her patients, makes her a well respected clinician. Karen has an interest in complex restorative dentistry, implants, TMD and orofacial pain. Her practice also has an emphasis on preventive dentistry with a large loyal following of multi generational families.

    For relaxation, Karen enjoys partnered social dancing, pilates and photography.

  • Dr Alexandra Moor

    Associate Dentist
    BDSc

    Ally, originally from Sydney, has always had a positive view of visiting the dentist, which sparked her desire to become a dentist who people look forward to seeing. During her degree in dentistry from Charles Sturt University in Orange, Ally’s passion for oral health led her to work with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, delivering dental care to underserved rural and remote communities in New South Wales. She has since relocated back to Sydney to join the GTW Dental Group team.

    With a broad interest in general dentistry, Ally is particularly passionate about restorative and preventative care. Her compassionate and empathetic approach ensures her patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their treatment.

    Outside of the dental practice, Ally has been an active volunteer with St John Ambulance for over ten years, providing first aid services at various community events, including local sports competitions. She also enjoys swimming, gardening, and cooking with her Grandmother.

  • Dr Alison Leishman

    Associate Dentist
    BDS

    Alison Leishman graduated from the University of Glasgow with Distinction in 2006. After graduating, Alison joined the British Royal Navy as a Dental Officer. During this time she treated patients at sea and at naval bases and in her spare time trained and competed for the Royal Navy Swim Team. Whilst in the Navy, she completed both her Vocational Training Year and Post Graduate Membership to the Joint Dental Faculty.

    Since arriving in Australia, Alison has worked in private practices in both Perth and Sydney. She has over 18 years of experience, but understands that dentistry is forever changing, and participates readily in continuing professional development.

     Dr Alison’s main aim is to make patients feel as comfortable and as cared for as possible and for everyone’s dental experience to be a positive one. She prides herself on her gentle and caring style of dentistry which puts patients at ease, and understands the importance of good communication. Alison loves getting to know her patients and their families and especially enjoys treating children. She believes in making their appointments as fun as possible, and wants kids to be excited and not apprehensive about their visit.

    Dr Alison was born and raised in a small town in central Scotland. Her daily childhood
    “Home and Away” viewing inspired her to follow the sun to Australia, and leave behind the cold and rain of Scotland. Prior to starting her job in Perth, Alison travelled around South East Asia where she met her now husband who happened to be from Sydney. After many flights across the country the decision was made to move to Sydney, and she has been happily living here for the past 14 years.

    Dr Alison is a mum to three boys, who keeps her “on her toes” when not at work. Aside from exploring the local parks and coffee shops, she enjoys Pilates and still takes every opportunity to swim in the ocean and visit the beach.

  • Dr Fiona Tam

    Associate Dentist
    BMedSc, BDent (Hons)

    Fiona is an experienced and compassionate general dentist dedicated to delivering high quality dental care. She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2000 with a Bachelor of Medical Science then went on to complete a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours in 2004.

    Over the years, Fiona has developed clinical skills in all aspects of dentistry, and has a special interest in family and paediatric care, and in providing simple orthodontics using Invisalign therapy. She firmly believes in preventative dentistry, patient education and fostering relationships built on empathy and trust.
    As a mother of 3, Fiona understands the importance of creating a calm and positive dental experience for every patient, especially children. She uses her friendly and non-judgmental manner to put all patients at ease and will provide the kind of dental care that you want and need. She has been known to talk at local childcare centres and preschools to share her knowledge and promote lifelong oral health in a fun and engaging way.

    Outside of work, you might find Fiona enjoying a good coastal walk, or bike ride, volunteering at schools, or cheering on the sidelines of one of her kid's AFL, basketball or hockey games. She herself tries to keep active through outdoor fitness groups, or having a hit of tennis, and loves snowboarding in winter.  

    Fiona is proud to serve her local community, and looks forward to supporting patients and their families in achieving and maintaining healthy, beautiful smiles.

  • Jennifer Chaplin

    Oral Health Therapist

    Jennifer is passionate about promoting good oral hygiene habits and preventive care. She has worked extensively in both clinical settings and community outreach, providing high-quality dental care and education. Her work includes assessing and treating patients, offering preventative services, and delivering oral health education programs in schools, preschools, and residential care facilities.

    Jennifer’s approach to patient care is patient-centered, empathetic, and culturally sensitive, always striving to create a positive, calm, and welcoming environment for her patients. She is particularly skilled at building strong rapport with young children and their families, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment journey.

    In addition to her clinical expertise, Jennifer has a wealth of experience in dental assisting, including orthodontic treatments, radiography, patient education, and administrative tasks. She is proficient in dental software systems and has an in-depth understanding of infection control and Sterilisation protocols.

    Jennifer's commitment to her profession is demonstrated through her ongoing involvement with industry associations, and her achievements, including being the recipient of the Golden Scaler Award for outstanding clinical performance during her studies.

    Whether working in a clinical setting or providing community-based oral health programs, Jennifer is committed to empowering patients to maintain and improve their oral health, making a lasting positive impact on the communities she serves.

  • Kirilee Lindsell

    Kirilee is an experienced dental hygienist with over a decade of hands-on expertise in general practice. After completing her Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting while working as a Dental Assistant, Kirilee developed a strong foundation in patient care and oral health. She furthered her education by studying a Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle, where she gained valuable insights into advanced preventative care.

    Kirilee’s career includes roles at renowned practices, within the Hornsby, Hills & Central Coast areas. These experiences have deepened her passion for preventive dentistry and working with patients to improve their long-term oral health.

    Since May 2024, Kirilee has been a valued member of the GTW team, where she continues to bring her enthusiasm and dedication to the field of preventative dental care. Her commitment to improving patient outcomes is reflected in her work, always prioritizing education and personalized care.

    Outside of her professional life, Kirilee is a proud mother of two young boys, who keep her busy, and she volunteers her time with Variety Children’s Charity, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the community.

  • Kristine Galustian

    Your Smile is in Caring Hands with Kristine Galustian. Kristine began her journey in the dental industry working as a dental assistant. Her passion for the industry lead her to complete Advanced Certifications in 2006 & 2008 in Dental Assisting and then go on to complete a Batchelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle in 2009. These qualifications demonstrate her dedication to providing exceptional oral health services within the Hornsby area.

    Kristine understands that visiting the dental hygienist can be daunting for some. That's why she strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for every patient. With over 13 years of dental hygiene experience, specializing in both orthodontics and general dentistry, Kristine provides gentle yet effective care.

    She is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental hygiene services, from routine cleans to, ensuring every patient receives personalized and attentive treatment.

    In addition to her professional life, Kristine is a dedicated mum to her beautiful 3 daughters who keep her busy and on her toes.
