About Us
The origins of this practice can be traced back to 1937 when it was founded by Dr Allan Mitchell, who initially operated it out of a house located on George St in Hornsby. Fast forward to 1978, and Dr John Giblin became a part of the team. The practice subsequently relocated to Florence Street, where Dr David Treloar joined in 1982, followed by Dr Karen Woodcock in 1990.
By 1996, the practice had outgrown its premises, prompting the team to move to its current location on Hunter Street in Hornsby. In 1999, a full-time dental hygienist was added to the staff, and Dr William Giblin, the son of Dr John Giblin, joined the practice in 2004.
Dr John Giblin retired in 2018, and Dr David Treloar followed suit in 2019. As of 2023, the practice is flourishing under the joint leadership of Dr Will Giblin and Dr Karen Woodcock. They have also welcomed Dr Alexandra Moor, an Oral Therapist Jennifer Chaplin and 2 additional hygienists, Kirilee Lindsell & Kristine Galustian to their team.
